Back in the 1920's my great-grandfather was a sharecropper in Mississippi, getting whatever he could off the land, taking care of multiple kids and his trusted mule, whom he affectionately named "Shine."

He also used Shine to help his "side hustle"... a moonshine distillery.

The name Muleshyne name pays homage to him and to the fact that we sometimes need to employ our resources "creatively" to get to where we need to be.
