Michigan AIDS Coalition

The Michigan AIDS Coalition (MAC) was formed February 1, 2009 when the Michigan AIDS Fund (MAF) and the Midwest AIDS Prevention Project (MAPP) completed a merger that we strongly believe will best serve the community and serve as an example to other organizations contemplating similar decisions. MAC is one of Michigan’s oldest non-profit, community-based organizations dedicated to health promotion, harm and risk reduction, HIV and sexually-transmitted disease prevention education.

Purpose: PROMOTION OF POSITIVE HEALTH PRACTICES AND LIFESTYLES BY SERVING AS A SOURCE OF INFORMATION ABOUT PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF AIDS; EXISTING SERVICES FOR MEDICAL CARE.
