Sabrina’s work is a collection of visual interpretations for the spirits that guide her to create them. Sabrina is a native Detroiter, born in the late 60’s during the riots. She currently is a teacher at the Detroit Institute of Arts and working hard at motivating students to pursue a degree in art at College for Creative Studies. Yoruba Religion, Eastern Philosophy and African Religious Philosophy, through various forms of spirituality, influence her work.
I just want to create and share that passion for art/music with my community and beyond.
