"If the costs are not too high, how about the addition of intricate lighting. Strung LED lighting or lighting in the median. Something interesting and unique to the metro area; forward thinking, progressive. I honestly think parking in the area is more than adequate. People should have to walk greater distances in this district. I think a more cohesive design plan for awnings or signage would go a long way in improving the image of the district. Overall, I think the things that will help attract people to the area are: business with clean windows and lights on (bright); cohesive, more permanent signage; other shoppers walking around; destination restaurants or bars with outdoor seating."
