The ""Avenue of fashion"" doesn't look like an Avenue of Fashion. It is unappealing. There are still too many stores with bars on the windows, ugly signage/facades. People selling clothes outside of stores like swap meets. Change the look of the avenue and people will come. There are some bright spots: 1917 Bistro, Good Cakes, the Livernois Storefront, but you can't have those open spaces next to places with bars on their windows and bars on the doors. It looks tacky.
