Some blocks on the Avenue are shoddy, especially where stores are vacant or in disrepair. The former Co-op building (now a church)is disgraceful and so is the former drug store (now boarded up) on the corner of 7 Mile and Livernois. The African Store with clothes hanging outside is an eyesore. There should be efforts made to bring some consistency to the facades of the buildings (i.e Too many colors; signage unprofessional, etc.
